The Stockmann Group is an international, multichannel retail company whose shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. The Group that was established in Finland in 1862 consists of two divisions: Stockmann and Lindex, both of which focus on customer-centric and multichannel operations, and on sustainable selections and responsible practices.
Stockmann’s divisions offer a high-quality selection of international and Finnish brands, sustainable products, an excellent customer service experience and inspiring shopping experiences in the Stockmann department stores, Lindex fashion stores and their online stores. Lindex products are also sold on third-party global e-commerce platforms.
Our product selection focuses on fashion, beauty and home products and also on the Stockmann Delicatessen in the Baltics. Stockmann is continuously introducing new sustainable choices for customers.

Two divisions
The Stockmann Group’s operating structure is divided in two divisions: Stockmann and Lindex.
Lindex
Lindex is one of Europe’s leading fashion companies. Lindex has around 440 fashion stores in 18 countries and an online store in 34 countries. Lindex’s range includes womenswear, kidswear, lingerie and cosmetics.
Stockmann
Stockmann is a multichannel retail company that offers a diverse and high-quality range of fashion, cosmetics and home products. Stockmann has eight department stores and an online store in Finland, Estonia and Latvia.

The Stockmann Group employed about 5 800 people in 2022. 29 per cent of them worked in the Stockmann division and 69 per cent in the Lindex division. Staff also work in purchasing offices.
About one third of Stockmann’s employees work in Sweden and one third in Finland. Around a third of all Group employees work in other countries.
The majority of Stockmann’s employment relationships (84%) are permanent.
