Stockmann's department store in Tampere renewed
The renovation and expansion work of the Stockmann department store in Tampere that lasted for more than 2 years was completed in week 46. The revamped store celebrated its opening on Saturday 15 November 2004. In the process the department store got extra space of 4 000 square meters, and the sales area now totals 15 000 square meters. The major reforms are particularly visible in men’s and women’s fashion and cosmetics as well as in the Delicatessen departments.
The Tampere department store has been renewed in line with Stockmann’s latest concept. The department store is the third largest store in the department store chain after the Helsinki and the St. Petersburg department stores.
