Stockmann Group's revenue in December 2011

The Stockmann Group’s revenue in December increased by 7.7 per cent and was EUR 245.6 million.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 6.4 per cent. Revenue was up 1.4 per cent in Finland and 21.5 per cent in international operations. Very good revenue growth continued in the Baltic countries. The euro-denominated revenue of Russian operations increased by 21.3 per cent, boosted by strong comparable growth in St Petersburg, the new department store in Ekaterinburg, and growth also in Moscow department stores.
Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue was up 10.1 per cent; up 18.4 per cent in Finland and 9.1 per cent in international operations. All countries increased their revenue in December. In Lindex’s main market Sweden, the growth was 0.7 per cent in local currency and outside of Sweden 21.8 per cent in local currencies.
Seppälä’s revenue was up 9.1 per cent. Growth was 9.5 per cent in Finland and 8.1 per cent in international operations, with the strongest growth taking place in the Baltic countries.
The Stockmann Group's revenue for the full year 2011 increased by 10.1 per cent to EUR 2 005.2 million which is Stockmann’s all-time highest. Revenue was up 12.4 per cent in the Department Store Division, 7.8 per cent in Lindex, and 0.4 per cent in Seppälä.
Stockmann will publish its financial statement bulletin on 9 February 2012 at 8 a.m. EET. The company’s full financial statements and an electronic version of the Annual Report 2011 will be published in the week starting on 20 February 2012.
