Stockmann Group's revenue in October 2011

The Stockmann Group’s revenue in October increased by 11.1 per cent and was EUR 217.3 million.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 15.1 per cent. Revenue was up 4.9 per cent in Finland with the strongest growth seen in Hobby Hall’s distance retail business. In international operations revenue was up 41.4 per cent. The department stores in Russia continued performing well and the euro-denominated revenue of Russian operations increased by 55.4 per cent. Revenue in the Crazy Days campaign was up in all department stores and all markets with a growth totalling 19 per cent.
Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue was up 3.6 per cent; up 6.0 per cent in Finland and 3.4 per cent in international operations. The weak market development continued in Sweden. In other markets the revenue growth remained strong.
Seppälä’s revenue was down 1.3 per cent. Revenue was down 1.8 per cent in Finland and on a par with the previous year in international operations. The exceptionally warm autumn has postponed the outwear sales in all market areas and also in the Group’s other business divisions.
