Stockmann Group's revenue in September 2011

The Stockmann Group’s revenue in September increased by 9.3 per cent and was EUR 157.8 million.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 12.5 per cent. Revenue was up 2.5 per cent in Finland and 44.9 percent in international operations. The department stores in Russia continued performing very well and the euro-denominated revenue of Russian operations increased by 61.3 per cent.
Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue increased by 5.1 per cent; up 7.1 per cent in Finland and 4.8 per cent in international operations. The revenue grew in all countries except in Sweden where the overall fashion market development year-to-date has been clearly negative.
Seppälä’s revenue was up 4.7 per cent. Revenue was up 4.5 per cent in Finland and 5.0 per cent in international operations. Revenue grew in all market areas.
In October, the Crazy Days campaign in the department stores in Finland reached again a new sales record. Revenue was up 8 per cent compared to the campaign held in the previous autumn. In Russia and the Baltic countries the campaign will be held during the week starting on 10 October.
