STOCKMANN GROUP'S REVENUE IN MAY 2011

The Stockmann Group’s revenue in May increased by 12.1 per cent and was EUR 158.6 million.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 15.1 per cent. Revenue was up 8.1 per cent in Finland, boosted by good development in the distance retail business. In international operations revenue was up 39.4 per cent. The euro-denominated revenue increased by 53,3 per cent in Russia.
Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue increased by 11.4 per cent; up 0.9 per cent in Finland and 12.9 per cent abroad. The revenue growth was strongest in Russia.
Seppälä’s revenue was down 2.7 per cent. The decrease was 8.0 per cent in Finland. Revenue was up 8.8 per cent abroad with the strongest growth seen in Russia.
