STOCKMANN GROUPS SALES IN JUNE 2003
In June, the Stockmann Groups sales were up 7 per cent and amounted to
EUR 122.6 million. Sales by the Department Store Division grew by 9 per
cent and the growth was strong especially in Finland. The development of
the exchange rate of the US dollar has retarded the growth of the euro-
denominated sales in Russia during the first part of the year. Sales by
the Vehicle Division continued to grow in June and were 12 per cent up on
the previous year. Sales by Hobby Hall were 2 per cent and sales by
Seppälä 8 per cent down on June 2002.
