Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

In addition to publishing its annual report, Stockmann Group also reports on its greenhouse gas emissions in the international Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) survey annually. Climate change mitigation and setting emissions targets is a central part of Stockmann's CSR work and environmental strategy also in the future.

The results were published on 22 January 2019. In 2018, Stockmann’s score was good with the score B. The score presents a company’s progress using a four-step approach: the completeness of the company’s response (disclosure); the extent to which the company has assessed environmental issues, risks and impacts in relation to its business (awareness); the extent to which the company has implemented actions, policies and strategies to address environmental issues (management); and particular steps the company has taken
which represent the best practices in the field of environmental management (leadership). Score B means that the company has taken actions to address environmental issues beyond initial screenings or assessments.
